While the Louis Vuitton store on Fifth Avenue undergoes a multi-year renovation, the brand has just unveiled a luxe new flagship on 57th Street, which is the biggest Louis Vuitton space in the U.S. so far. This store includes the American debut of a Louis Vuitton café, a chocolate shop, a new global culinary concept, and an exclusive capsule collection of keepsakes.
Across five floors, shoppers are exposed to the maison’s extensive culture, with striking installations and displays of the label’s clothing, leather goods, luggage, and more. Not to mention, there is a taste of French cuisine at the Le Café Louis Vuitton, where chefs Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frédéric crafted a unique experience in partnership with local young talents to create a menu of “luxury snacking.”
To celebrate the store’s opening, Louis Vuitton held a star-studded party on Thursday night, where guests including Ana de Armas, Este Haim, Martha Stewart, and Bradley Cooper were in attendance. You can visit the space at 6 East 57th Street now.
Arriving on November 19, Sybil and David Yurman: Artists and Jewelers is a new photobook that tells the story of the co-founders of David Yurman, and how they came to build one of the most successful luxury jewelry brands in the U.S.
Over five decades ago, the pair simultaneously fell in love and became business partners, with the intention of crafting beautiful objects for people to wear. Their backgrounds in sculpture and painting brought an artistic sensibility to the brand that has helped to make it timeless.
Now, across more than 350 pages, this new book offers rare photographs of the family, their original design sketches, portraits of the brand’s jewelry, behind-the-scenes moments, and so much more. You can pre-order the book here.
Skims has become known for the starry slew of guests it recruits for campaigns, but for a new shoot, the brand turned inward, using founder Kim Kardashian and her older sister, Kourtney, as the muses.
The famous siblings channeled vintage Italian glamour in a campaign shot by Nadia Lee Cohen, which celebrated a new limited-edition collaboration between Skims and Dolce & Gabbana.
“It’s been an honor to collaborate with my friends Domenico and Stefano on this special collection for Dolce & Gabbana and Skims,” Kim said in a statement. “We’ve taken classic Dolce & Gabbana silhouettes and leopard prints and reimagined them with the incredible fit and comfort that Skims is known for. This is a truly iconic partnership that I’m so excited to share with the world.”
